CLuB will deliver new knowledge on the importance and potential clinical relevance of various components of the liquid biopsies -individually and combined- including extracellular vesicles (EVs), tumour DNA (ct-DNA) and methylated DNA, and circulating tumour cells (CTCs).

CLuB will foster innovation, research, and development in diagnostics industry by providing access to research infrastructure, know-how, and trained personnel.

CLuB will train and develop a critical mass of students, fellows, nurses, technicians, and patient advocates, in beyond state-of-the-art methodologies and approaches.

Through its PPI activities CLuB will enhance links with patients, Cancer Trials Ireland, National Cancer Control Programme and the Northern Ireland Cancer Network.

Through its border network CLuB will contribute to policy development relevant to the Shared Island Initiative, particularly in terms of building a healthier Island.

CLuB’s training and teaching, generated knowledge, and unprecedented North-South integrated biobank and database will ensure sustainability and benefits into the future.
