CLuB’s Lead Investigator Prof. Lorraine O’Driscoll opens the Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute Inaugural Research Day 2023

The Trinity St James’s Cancer Institute (TSJCI) held its Inaugural Research Day on June 23rd in MISA’s Davis Coakley seminar room.  The event was an internal forum to highlight the depth and breadth of cancer research across Trinity College Dublin and St James’s Hospital and to bring people together to share ideas and foster new collaborations.  CLuB’s Founder & Lead Investigator and TSJCI Research Lead, Professor Lorraine O’Driscoll, opened the event.

CLuB’s Investigator Professor John O'Leary, also directed and guided the open forum discussion and concluded the morning session. Dr Brian Henderson, CLuB Scientist delivered a very thought-provoking and interesting presentation on “The Selection of Cold Tumour Phenotype (Cell) specific Aptamers”.

Also on display during the event was CLuB’s eye-catching poster which captured the background of CluB and provided information on CLuB’s funded Research Team.
