CLuB Exhibits the Potential of Liquid Biopsies in the Diagnosis of Cancer at the Balmoral Show 2023

CLuB’s Co-Investigator, Dr Niamh Buckley, along with Dr Syed Umbreen and Ms Rachel Chambers from Queen's University Belfast, demonstrated the potential of liquid biopsies in the diagnosis of cancer at the Balmoral Show 2023, held in Northern Ireland.

Liquid biopsy, a minimally invasive technique for detecting circulating tumour DNA and other biomarkers in blood, holds immense promise in revolutionizing cancer diagnostics. Dr Niamh Buckley, along with other researchers under the CLuB consortium, is trying to develop simple diagnostic tests that can accurately detect and monitor various cancer types.
